On The Ground In Liberia: Delivering Food To Ebola-Stricken Communities

WFP is scaling up its operations in Ebola-hit Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, delivering food to more than 1 million people, including those in quarantined, remote communities like this one in the Liberian Bong County.

“This is a community where Ebola has hit hard – many people have died and many people have gone down sick. An unofficial sort of quarantine has been placed around this community so WFP is coming in to bring food,” said WFP Spokesperson Martin Penner.
