Walk the World - Indonesia
Walk the World took place on 6 June across all 24 time zones of the globe. In Indonesia, thousands of people gathered for a walk followed by a concert. 
Walk The World - Brazil
The walk aims to raise awareness and funds for WFP’s school meals programmes, through the support of WFP’s partners in the private sector: TNT, DSM and Unilever.
This walk in Brazil gathered some 500 people.
Walk the World - India
Now in its 8th year, the Walk has mobilised some 2 million people since its inception.
Walk the World - Jordan

In Jordan, walkers braved the blazing summer heat in the ancient city of Jerash.

Walk The World - Malawi

In Malawi, more than 11,000 people participated in the walk.

A bike ride was held in Rome, where WFP has its headquarters.

Local dances and music livened up the Walk in Sri Lanka.

Walk the World - Iraq

For the first time this year, a walk was held in Iraq, in the northern city of Erbil in the Kurdistan region.

Walk the World - USA

In the USA, walkers in New York made a generous donation to WFP’s school meal programmes.

Walk The World - Burkina Faso

The biggest walk was held in Burkina Faso, where bout 20,000 walked in the nation’s capital Ouagadougou, led by the First Lady Chantal Compaore.

In New Zealand, one determined TNT employee walked his soles off in the name of the fight against hunger.
