Canadian Ambassador Visits P4P Projects

La Aldea Veguitas is a community located south of the town of San Juan Ermita within the Department of Chiquimula, eastern Guatemala. Production in the region is mostly based on the cultivation of grains. Juan Ramón (c), a P4P participant, proudly showcases the vegetables he has grown in his garden.

The Cooperativa Integral Chortijol is made up of 245 men and 81 women: a total of 326 members to date. This organization has worked with the Purchase for Progress (P4P) initiative since September 2010.
