WFP Executive Director Ertharin Cousin hand delivers on behalf of the five (5) UN Agencies a joint Commitment Letter and Work Plan to continue improving the governance of the UN System Network for the SUN Movement to strengthen collaboration on nutrition. The Work Plan provides a harmonized framework for the role and activities of the UN System Network in support of SUN at both global and country levels. These agencies also committed to supporting REACH as an effective means of building national nutrition governance and capacity while encouraging other UN agencies to join the global UN System Network for SUN. Later this year, the UN System Network for SUN will formally launch the platform for improved and effective inter-agency cooperation.
