As part of efforts to reach zero Ebola cases, the Guinean government launched a new campaign across 20 villages in the Forecariah prefecture, one of the last strongholds for Ebola infections. During the 21-day campaign, people are asked not to leave their area so that all potential Ebola cases are detected and addressed, and further transmission is contained. To ensure that people don't have to leave their homes to find food, the World Food Programme (WFP) distributed crucial food assistance to over 7,500 households.
