Papllacta Vulnerable to Climate Change According to Atlas

In WFP’s Climate Change Atlas which was launched earlier this year, the Papallacta area as well as 398 other communities in Ecuador, appear as vulnerable to the negative effects of climate change, including potential disasters and food insecurity. According to WFP, “Climate change increments the frequency and intensity of natural disasters, such as droughts, floods, grail, snow storms, freezing temperatures and glacier retreat”.
