KHARTOUM – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) welcomed today two substantial contributions totalling €2.5 million (US$2.7 million) from the Government of Germany to support its work across Sudan and help tens of thousands of internally displaced people in Darfur.

KHARTOUM/JUBA- The Government of Sudan, the Government of South Sudan and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) extended for six months an agreement that allows the delivery of food assistance from Sudan to South Sudan where hundreds of thousands of people face acute hunger due to the continuing conflict.
