KHARTOUM - The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) today welcomed a contribution from the Government of Australia in support of its response to conflict-affected South Sudanese in Sudan.

Khartoum, 09 February 2015. The United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator a.i. in Sudan, Mr. Adnan Khan, strongly condemns an attack on Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS) staff in Blue Nile State on 8 February 2015, which resulted in the killing of three aid workers and seriously injured another staff member of SRCS.
