South Sudanese Refugees In Sudan Receive WFP Food
WFP is doing all it can to prevent hunger and malnutrition among South Sudanese refugees who fled to Sudan when conflict broke out in their country in December 2013. Alagaya Refugee Camp is one of four refugee camps in Sudan's White Nile state where almost 11,000 South Sudanese refugees stay. To prevent hunger and malnutrition among them, WFP provides them food and nutrition assistance through food rations, sepcial nutritional products for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children aged under five as well as a food-for-work project.
