The Cost of Hunger in Africa: Rwanda 2013

The Cost of Hunger in Africa (COHA) is an African Union Commission (AUC) led initiative through which countries are able to estimate the social and economic impact of child undernutrition in a given year.

Overall results in Rwanda show that an estimated 503.6 billion Rwandan francs (RWF) were lost in the year 2012 as a result of child undernutrition. This is equivalent to 11.5% of GDP.
