Address on the Occasion of the Launch of the 2005 Consolidated Appeals Process - Berlin
It is an honor to be with you here today in Berlin and my special thanks to Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer for hosting this launch of the Consolidated Appeal for 2005. To my generation, Berlin remains a symbol of freedom – a triumph of hope against incredible odds. I can recall many visits here over the years and today there is electricity in the air. You can literally feel the energy of the city reshaping itself.
