One of the biggest problems we have in the developed world when we address the issue of HIV/AIDS is a tendency to see it through the prism of our own experience. Thanks to medical advances, as well as our own knowledge and resources, AIDS in the industrialized countries has been reduced from a death sentence to a manageable, chronic disease. But the fact is that AIDS is now actually two different diseases - one for the haves and one for the have-nots.
