The winner of the World Cup in 2002, FIFA’s 2007 Player of the Year and recipient of the 2007 Ballon d’Or. Kaka is considered one of the greatest Brazilian football players to grace the football pitch. A native of Brazil, Kaká has won numerous titles while playing with AC Milan, including the League title in 2003-2004, the Italian Super Cup in 2004, the UEFA Champions League in 2006-2007, and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2007. Following his transfer to Real Madrid, Kaká won the Spanish King’s Cup in 2010-2011, the Spanish League Title in 2011-2012, and the Spanish Super Cup in 2012. As an Ambassador, Kaká has participated in various campaigns, including Fill the Cup, which he co-launched in 2008, and the WeFeedback Campaign in 2011, which helped provide more than 400,000 children with nutritious school meals. He promotes WFP’s work to his more than 27 million followers on social media and digital channels. Kaká recently participated and spoke at this year’s United Nations General Assembly Rome Based Agency Side Event by advocating and promoting #ZeroHunger.
